HOW CAN THIS BE SO MUCH FUN?

I’m writing a new script.

It’s been a while. I’ve been solving other creative problems – that’s what I do – but I haven’t written a script in a while.

The process of starting with the simple idea – of evolving it with research and free flow thinking – then organizing my thoughts and notes, coalescing the first storyline, addressing the structure, then expanding the content until the story takes shape – is such a wonderfully satisfying journey.

Because I’ve done it enough to know that there will more than likely be some satisfying conclusion, I eagerly jump in and find every step along the way more satisfying than the last.

How can this be so much fun?
